it's wild to me that Tetris 99 gets offline DLC
10€ for a Tetris that honestly doesn't look or sound that good seems a bit steep though. Pretty sure I got Puyo Puyo Tetris on sale for 15 and that's a way better value unless you don't care about Puyo, the extra modes, the story, character voices while you're playing, a variety of skins and music…
@noiob yeah I was thinking the same thing when I played tetris 99 for the first time today. the game is really awesome and I like the simple interface but like, I don't see that working so well in singleplayer? unless they pulled a grandmaster on it and added a ton of extra crazy modes, levels, effects and music. that would be really good imo
@marrub nah it looks like they're just slapping bots and a marathon mode on it plus 1-2 ones to be released at a later date
@marrub and I mean there's a stellar Tetris game already on the Switch that has a bunch of cool modes
@noiob i love PPT so much. it's such a great version of *both* puyo and tetris. two games in one with tons of content for both??? yes??????!?!
@marrub I'm not big into puzzle games but it's just so good? Love playing a quick 150 rows when I'm waiting somewhere
