Dang, Gamefreak actually have to remake every single Pokémon model they wanna use in SwSh because they didn't transfer right? Does that mean all the 'mons in PikaVee were freshly made, too? Also I hadn't even considered Dynamax needing more detailed models, that's a good point.

Honestly as someone who hasn't seriously played anything past second gen, I couldn't care less either way but hoo boy have people been asshats about it

@noiob my understanding is that they are using old models, the 3ds ones are waaay better than it could actually render, specifically for the purposes of futureproofing

@monorail there was a famitsu interview that clarified a lot of things. I quite like the idea of only including a selection of old gen's Pokémon in newer games to make balancing not completely impossible.
