I'm not a fan of train stations that diverge from the classic "a bunch of parallel tracks and one tunnel connecting them", especially if I have to run to catch my connecting train
@noiob avoid shibuya (diagram is only the tokyo metro subway part of the station, there are other subway and surface platforms)
@bonzoesc from what I've heard, Tokyo has excellent in-station personal navigation though, while on a German train station I consider myself lucky if the signage is correct
@elomatreb I haven't had the pleasure but I've ridden public transit in Berlin, it's an Experience
@elomatreb see, that's my secret, I can't drive
@elomatreb a well-designed Autobahn crossing is a thing of beauty though, too many are just getting the standard Spaghettiknoten treatment nowadays
@elomatreb I'll share my opinion on them when I've driven through a few 😄
@noiob Cambridge station is good. It's all on one long loooong platform! XD apparently whoever designed it must have considered the locals' dislike of slopes. (oh god don't make me walk up a hill nooooooo.....)
I don't mind if my train journeys aren't adventures is all I'm saying
