oh no I just found out that someone actually made a charging and component cable for the PSP Go but it's only available directly from China (or with a massive markup from the US via eBay lmao)
@noiob lmao @ 2 fiddy price tag
@halcy yeah, someone should bring me one when they go to china so I can save the shipping
@noiob have it delivered to shanghai airport transit area and I'll do it w
@halcy I'm pretty sure you're not serious but I'm pretty sure that's not a thing you can do
@noiob well, I'm serious enough that if you had found a way to do that I'd have done it because I am transiting through shanghai in like a month, but I also think that there's several reasons why this is impossible
@halcy I wonder if it'd be possible if I knew someone who lived in Shanghai
@noiob well, that person would have to enter the security area, so they'd need a plane ticket on the same day, and that's assuming it's the same area for intl transit and departures
I doubt it tbh
@halcy I guess I'll have to pay shipping instead lol
@noiob it makes sense given the existence of the psp go dock, but I’m still not sure I’d trust this lmao
@ticky a year ago someone on reddit wrote that it works, and from what I know about the dock's pinout there's no reason why it shouldn't be possible https://old.reddit.com/r/PSP/comments/9nuxcd/3_in_1_cable_component_data_charge_for_psp_go/
@noiob yeah, it totally should work! The dock can handle power, video and USB all at once. I’m still not sure I could trust it lmao
like, the shipping on such a big box is obvs quite a bit, but it's way cheaper than the PSP Go Dock (which is super rare nowadays)
