- does the game actually have simultaneous multiplayer? two-way conversations don't really work with recordings but also the PSX doesn't have networking, but also I feel like it's made very clear (almost like the creator is talking to the viewers) that there's no ghosts or AI stuff going on (plus AI on a Playstation is a lot less believable than someone figuring out a way to network a bunch of them through serial or sth)
- what does the windmill stand for? is it a metaphor? was there ever a real windmill? why the fuck did it disappear then?
- are the testing rooms real rooms somewhere? does Paul get forced to play the game further at some point

- what are the pieces? are they just game money? then why are they all different shapes that have the same value, that's atypical for video games afaik. What are they pieces of? Do a thousand pieces make a whole?

@noiob testing rooms are almost certainly real rooms, when Marvin asks Paul which one he's in and Paul is opening all the pictures to check, Tiara tries to use the Nifty tool to tell him to move his bed in front of a hidden door to prevent Marvin from getting in. Unfortunately, she was too slow, and it only appeared one frame before Paul closed the window to walk in a circle

@noiob my guess is that the playstations are networked, we never see the Tiara character at the same time as we hear Paul talking to Belle on the phone, and she actually disappears from the phone conversation to tell him something in-game ("What? What? What? What? What?")

we'll probably never know for sure but a theory i think is really interesting (though i'm not sure whether i believe it or not) is that the windmill represents the spokes on the wheel of a car
it travels in one direction for a while, hits lina and backs up

@noiob I feel like there had been a murder- and their friend had been buried somewhere near and old windmill since demolished

There is a lot of implications that this death happened around a birthday, and one of the petscop kids is trying to sabotage Paul from discovering the body
There is a lot more to petscop yea- like the pets representing some of the kids- but other than this I don’t feel much else
