for context: the QD was basically a lite version of the original N-Gage with some flaws fixed. It didn't have a mp3 decoder, USB, radio or line-in recording, but it was smaller, looked a lot better and most importantly had a hot-swap MMC slot. On the original model you had to turn off the device every time you wanted to swap games, which was… not a good idea. Also they moved the speaker and microphone to the front so you didn't have to side-talk anymore
