it's still baffling to me that Nintendo is nerfing tricks to get money in their mostly-singleplayer game with no interconnected economy

like they're wasting dev time on this? why would you tell people who already bought your game "no you're playing it wrong"? do people look at the game in stores going "there's tricks to make this game less of a grindfest, guess I'm not buying it"?

@noiob because it's an online connected game and people are exploiting it to sell bells on sites like ebay for real world cash
