new idea for websites: the server sends the website pre-rendered as png and the browser sends events back
@noiob I think that's basically what opera mini used to do?

@masklayer certainly not sending pngs, they simplified the page as much as they could (and reformatted it for mobile devices when needed), and compressed all images (depending on device settings)
there was some Javascript support (probably only for stuff bound to buttons and links), and they had a limit for how long they'd let it run, obvs
