there's finally a mod for cities skylines that lets me put as much pointless fussing into my highways as NAM did in SC4, so if you're wondering whether I'd get anything done in quarantine the answer is no

I really hope that there's eventually a cities skylines sequel that has variable street cross sections as a core mechanic. the mod for it is still pretty limited, and also extremely hacky

like, C:S technically allows for any width, but anything that isn't an integer multiple of 2 units wide throws off frontage/zoning and length-snapping, so it's only really useful for highways. And even for highways, only with hacky mods can you really control the lanes

also, as a new yorker, i care deeply about sidewalk congestion and would love a game that includes it, but there's no point unless you can actually control the size of the sidewalks
