sometimes people ask about a mac/ios version of Shield Cat and while I'd love to do that I'd have to shell out $3000 US in hardware costs and then also pay $100 US a year to be able to continue updating the game, and it's not worth it when Mac can use WINE and I dont like iOS

Also apparently Gamemaker can do gamepads but only 4 of them and only PS3/XBOX 360 type and only if it's not set up for "build for mac appstore" so pretty much no it can't do it

its honestly surprising when I watch videos about old macs and how a lot of gaming is done on there because like, its impossible nowadays lmao I mean macOS does what, Safari and that's it?

Been told WINE doesn't work on Mac anymore so yea, if you're using a mac you absolutely can not play Shield Cat, sorry

@Roxy afaik wine64 still works so if there's a 64 bit Windows build that should be fine (unless someone's on an ARM mac, gotta virtualize for that I guess)
