Say I have a mono input, can I just combine the left and right channel wires into one and it sounds fine? Its just a signal that changes intensity to represent sound so combining the two would just make sounds coming through both sides louder and add the sounds only going down the right channel combine with the left signal. Am I way off base here?

@fillertrack usually that should be no problem, you can get some weird effects if the waves happen to cancel each other out

@noiob Not the end of the world since its just for a little crt to be my monitor for vhs streams.
