Wish we could operate the Wii U's main menu with the gamepad when it's displayed on the TV. The Miiverse plaza is a little annoying with how hard they're constantly pushing a service that doesn't work.

Makes me want to get a Pro Controller.

@IceWolf @noiob Yep. You only get one Wii U Gamepad so any multiplayer games you play will require Wii Remotes. Unless you’re playing Splatoon 1 in local multiplayer. The Pro Controller has no motion controls. See image. :D

@IceWolf @FayneAldan Splatoon 2 couch mp doesn't require motion controls, it just feels way better with motion aim, so the picture above shows a hidden option to get that back. There isn't even UI for it, you have to hold down buttons while launching the game mode to activate it
