I also appreciate that one of the exploitable GameCube games is... James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire. You see the PS2 version of that game is infamous as being... a way to load homebrew on THAT console using exploits.

How they managed to fuck the game up this way on two different systems amazes me.

Agent Under Fire on PS2 used to go for big bucks because it was one of the most popular ways to mod a PS2... but it seems to have gone back to being worthless now, probably because we now have better ways to load homebrew on a PS2.

@onfy heh, I still have a patched disc here because a friend used it to hack a PS2 at some point

@noiob Of Agent Under Fire? Hell, I tried something similar back in the day. I bought some random crappy game with online mode at the thrift store hoping it'd work for this... but the game has a disc check when it loads the online code, so no work.

@onfy yeah, it's a simple disc swap iirc, only works on a Slim obvs

@noiob I think Bond will work for that on slim. Not the games I attempted.

@onfy well yeah, I've seen it work

to be fair, my friend is some kind of CD drive whisperer, he can do a double swap trick on a PS1

Follow

@onfy (so it works even when it reads the Wobble twice)
