I've seen people dislike devices taking AA batteries so often now, like,
you know you can get those at the store with a charger for like 20€, and when they break, you can just replace them? Way more practical than specialized battery packs
like did y'all buy non-rechargeables for your Wiimotes?
@socks I guess it helped that my dad already owned a fast charger and a bunch of batteries of varying quality when I grew up
I recall always annoying him about charging my camera's batteries
@noiob Probably, but honestly I didn't learn about the existence of rechargeable batteries until later and even then it would have been a bit of a hard sell for my parents
