I've seen people dislike devices taking AA batteries so often now, like,
you know you can get those at the store with a charger for like 20€, and when they break, you can just replace them? Way more practical than specialized battery packs

@ChlorideCull they're fine? you can get 3900mAh ones, and I use 1900mAh ones in various devices where they last ages
@noiob all the ones I have have huge issues with self-discharge, which means you can pretty much never leave them in something and instead have to have them in the charger whenever you aren't using them

@noiob Oh, I have some of those, the biggest issue with them is that the matte white exterior is bulkier than normal batteries, so they end up being a bit of a tight squeeze - unless you'll be able to grab the batteries and pull them out, you'll likely be unable to get them out!

@ChlorideCull well, idk, but my eneloops never got stuck (nor did any other rechargeables I ever used), so imo it's Ikea's fault
@noiob it's one of those "it's spec compliant" things I'm fairly certain, it's the shit you put it in (like 360 controllers) that have way too small slots
