holding the Switch after playing on the Vita makes it feel like the worse handheld, it's way heavier, larger and the bezels suddenly seem massive to me. Also the Vita, even my LCD model, has a really good screen
@bonzoesc they make cases that add grips to the back of it
@noiob maybe worth looking in to as things start to open back up & i go places; 99% of my switch time this past year has been docked while using the stationary bike
@noiob yeah, I have to admit that playing the switch in handheld mode makes my wrists hurt after a while. :( though to be fair I'm playing long sessions of animal crossing usually
@bentosmile yeah, it can be really tiring to hold over time
my Vita 2000 is just 219g vs the Switch's 400g, and I bet the Switch being larger makes it harder to hold, too, at least with one hand (to be fair, the Vita has more touchscreen interaction than the Switch)
@noiob ah yeah O_O if I hold the switch with 1 hand I really feel it. So heavy! Which is a shame because it's not really practical to play on TV atm so I'm stuck with handheld style.
@noiob somehow the switch is comfier to me, and i like the OS a lot more. the vita os is ... something else, even if it looks cute
@MochiWaifu it's a bit weird but I can't say I mind it much. It's also nice to be able to use a Bluetooth headset with zero friction
@noiob Honestly the switch lite even is a *bit* big, I think I'd like it if they made a smaller one with the same screen size somehow
@noiob also god the ps Vita is so cool aesthetically,
Good shape
@masklayer it's such a fun shape with the pendant loops and the transparent shoulder buttons forming those symmetrical indents, it's also reminiscent of the PSP's design while not just being another PSP
@noiob when i play in handheld mode i mostly wish the switch was a big bigger, hard to hold it comfortably
