my current module at school uses Cisco courses and materials but in French, the problem is they’re machine-translated and technical terms are translated literally and inconsistently so it’s fucking incomprehensible, god fucking help me

and no I don’t have access to the thing in English for some reason

I am still very frustrated by literally any service or business that thinks that automated machine translation is acceptable on its own for localization, especially for things like academic courses

I can assure you anybody taking this kind of decision is monolingual
