im glad mastodon does auto embeds for links but jesus christ it is implemented so badly
it only shows up until like a minute after posting or if someone interacts with the post and you cant remove the embed later on for whatever reason lol
@avie yeah, admins can hide embeds so it wouldn't even be hard to add

i kinda wish i could still remove the embed later on anyway though. having to break a link like that just to hide artwork that could potentially creep ppl out isnt ideal
