gross computer mouse

it was less gross than it probably looks, very dry dust, not gunky at all, but still, hats off to Logitech, this thing is built like a tank
gosh it feels so good to scroll now, who knew
@noiob my scroll wheel squeaks but it's less than two months old, question is whether I open it to see if I can clean it or just get it replaced
@ChlorideCull it's a mouse, they squeak from time to time
don't think that's a dirt issue at two months, I'd guess it's friction on the edge of the opening or sth

yeah, might open it up and try greasing it a bit, it doesn't look like it's rubbing up against anything though
@ChlorideCull might just be that the axle isn't lubed enough
@noiob I miss cleaning the ball on mice. So satisfying to pick out fluff from the rollers around it... then I'd degauss my monitor and sit back all satisfied with a job well done, because it was like 2002 or something. 
(I go ott cleaning controllers and stuff. Cannot deal with dirty ones. Washing up liquid is good for removing greasy crap from sticks, which just happens with some plastics if they're left alone too long. Go along the seams with a pin. It's too much)
@bentosmile yeah I hate how stuff accumulates in the seams
