@Tanuki there's barely even eReaders yet, I doubt there's much of a market for a single-purpose device considering the price of color eInk panels
@Tanuki well, I'm running one of these but it really can only do 7 colors, so not everything will look good on it and it'll usually have a lot of dithering. @Tanuki no ready-made solutions yet though afaik. This kind of eInk has like 20-30s refresh times so it's not useable for say, an eReader
@Tanuki the technology can do shading already but I assume the driver for that would be a lot more expensive so they didn't go for that
