retrofitting BT to old headphones 

I wonder how fiddly it'd be to retrofit my old Sennheiser HD25-1 IIs with Bluetooth. The transducers are very good indeed, punching far above their weight, but the connector design is awful. (The cable is easily replaceable, and you'll need to do so every few months)

Maybe I need to look into how pleasant or gruesome Nordic's SDKs are.. (definitely not Maxim's. Their SDK is cursed, let alone the internal BT architecture)

I suspect the worst part would be the physical design - how to house the MCU and battery in a stable way, and mount it in some aesthetically pleasing manner. I'm fine with programming, but anything remotely mechanical rapidly heads out of my wheelhouse. =:)
