We had another state-wide alarm drill today (sirens and everything) and the cell broadcast system actually worked this time, yay!
I think they used the "real alert / end of the world is imminent" category instead of a test alert... but good to know it works, I guess!
@kianga makes it harder to read but the flashing is probably for Deaf and hard of hearing people… maybe they should flash the area around the popup, but everyone's a critic I guess. I like that the link is (kinda) clickable!
@noiob I'd probably make it a full-screen alert instead of a little popup, just like a phone call or even the alarm clock. Then there'd be a lot more design options than... this.
The first thing I get when I click that link, by the way, is a cookie pop-up. Because even when the world is ending, they care about my privacy!
