i personally can't really get into games that you just play until you die, never been a big fan of them. i want to overcome a challenge, not fight back an inevitable failure for as long as i care to. not that that's bad, just not for me

this may sound like it conflicts with my previously-expressed love of tetris but: i play a lot of versus tetris, where your goal is to specifically fight back another player and win

so apotris is pretty much exclusively going to be a practice tool as opposed to a game lmao. maybe i'll find myself grinding DT cannons on the bus or something. or MAYBE i'll get back into 40L sprint. no promises

i don't remember what my best 40L sprint time was but i do remember that it was set in fucking Puyo Puyo Tetris lmao

like even if i never improved as a player after that, you'd expect me to have beaten that time by playing worse on an engine with less line clear delay

feels very similar to my handling settings on tetr.io. i wish i could set DAS a little faster, like just a couple of frames, but it's totally fine, whatever
