@porsupah is this a current date thing? because I thought they'd dropped ads after project wonderful went down
@noiob Could be, though it feels too authentic. Might be some kind of infrastructure rollout - had the same on blu-ray.com's price tracker just now.
@porsupah nah, they totally have ads, even if they don't load when I turn ublock origin off… it seems to also block the popup for me though
@noiob Mm, maybe that's it - some code change on that which now means I get to see it, until I take care of it some other way. Bleah.
@porsupah try clearing ublock's cache and refreshing the lists, that might already take care of it
@noiob Don't think I have uBlock anywhere yet. Trying Adguard now.
@porsupah ah, okay. I use it anywhere it's available cuz it's generally regarded as the best one
@noiob I'm always leery of anything requesting access to page content. Adguard, happily, seems to've slain the modal on QC. _^
@porsupah uh yeah they have CSS filters and stuff. Also Youtube adblocking doesn't work without it
@noiob splat-V an URL into the downloader, done. _^ And it's completely robust - no ads, no sponsors, just the actual video.
