got a Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 compatible power bank because that's what my soldering iron needs and this is a great way to learn that QC3 is an awful standard that's super annoying to support

I'm already running custom firmware on this thing and sadly the hardware can't support USB-PD

it's what I get for being an early adopter tbh

oh neat, I had a hunch that the powerbank just refused to go to 9V2A because it was empty, turns out I was right. I guess it was worth figuring out how to update this thing (it updates by presenting as FAT mass storage and some change to Windows made it stop working properly, luckily, Linux exists)
