@dogo seriously though, i think CWs as we have them are great.
obviously for lewd stuff to not have some extra large vegetables show up immediately as they get posted, but also for certain topics i might not want to read about in the moment (e.g. US politics). I can just scroll by or open these posts depending on how i feel.
and if you really want to, you can let your mastodon client always expand CW'd posts, so ...

I do feel like the term is kind of dated given the increasing number of AP services though, but I can't think of a good one that kinda captures both concepts cause "summary" kinda undersells it (and feels unnecessary especially with stock masto being 500 char) outside of it somehow being context based on the sensitive toggle. Derp.
