Picked up one of these from a discount store for $12, it's a pair of them...I did not realize they're ESP32-powered! Holy crap! That's awesome! AND support LoRA! Way cool!

Gonna see about making it work with @homeassistant somehow via @esphome ^.^ #HomeAssistant #ESPHome #DIY #ESP32

@KayOhtie seems like you got a heck of a deal too, Amazon Germany has it listed for 80€

@noiob Yeah, they MSRP'd at a club store in the US for $100 originally. I was uncertain but tempted seeing them $25 but the sale for $12 sealed it x3 it's some ArduinoTM-level pricing

@KayOhtie there's a few on ebay and I'm very tempted cuz it's kind of a good deal even with shipping and taxes

@noiob isn't it?? I'm gonna try and compile the firmware tonight, it wasn't playing nice in platformio but maybe Arduino IDE under Linux will be okay. It def didn't like Windows.

I wanna give it basic wifi stuff, maybe able to send/read messages either over Wi-Fi, maybe interact with other things (home assistant remote). I think like once it can compile easily and have some documentation improvement will be easier for folks to add things. They kinda...seemed to forget this one exists D:
