gosssh, i really need to work on how i look on camera

it's one thing to be nervous, but it's another thing to let said nervousness translate to literally any kind of anxious movement

someone recently convinced me to try appearing on a stream, and watching the vod now it looks like i'm basically ready to just kinda sprint out of frame at any given moment

it's pretty embarrassing :blobfoxpanic:

where do you even look when you are on camera talking about something?

- looking at the camera has aN eNeRgY
- looking at the notes ahead of you makes you look disengaged
- looking at the co-commentator is fine in short bursts, but only in that

i ended up switching between things a bunch, but the sort of time stretching of being on the spot meant that it looked like my eyes basically darted around like i was a stunned zelda boss or something

@archenoth see this is why video game streams are great, you have something to look at

@noiob this was one! it's just that the only time that they show the commentators is when there is no game going on

when the game is on, you're just background voices and this stops being a problem
