@noiob they claim there's nothing personal, but spotpass was also used for some asynchronous comm with friends and things like that, right? or was that another mechanism behind the hood?
@Claire I don't think that's Spotpass? Afaik that's only game data. There's Streetpass Relays that basically tag Streetpass data with a SSID on Nintendo's servers so ppl who show up at the same access point can grab it
@noiob i mean stuff like swapnote and tomodachi life had player-specific data exchanged asynchronously through the internet with the blue dot as well
