how the fuck are you supposed to get rid of discover if it doesn't even care if it's installed or not

@noiob Oh that explains why it showed up again. I've managed to dodge using flatpaks for the last several years so I never knew it was specifically for that, I had the gist it was more a general updater and it sucks so I usually just boot it for Qapt immediately xD

it keeps opening anyway sometimes even if I don't have a flatpak.

@anarceus idk I only use KDE on the Steam Deck and you can't really use anything but flatpaks on there (the system is read-only and even if you unlock it it resets on updates)

@noiob you can put linux on steam deck?

I think it's really just an updater and not specifically for flatpak, but it's a pain to get off your system and it sucks xD

@anarceus the Steam Deck comes with Linux! it runs SteamOS 3 which is basically just Arch. It's one of the reasons why it's so power efficient!

I think KDE kinda relies on Discover being there, you also get themes and stuff from there

@noiob bleh that sucks. Oh well.

That's really cool about the steam deck! Not sure I'd use it enough to justify an investment in it but that's really cool, going on my memo list

@anarceus it's a lovely device and a really good price for the hardware that you get
