@Natanox it seems to be the best entry level printer and great value for money
@Natanox oh and it's cute
@noiob Which one is it exactly? I'm curious. 🤔
@noiob Mmh okay, so I was worried about the enshittification that BambuLab is pushing but apparently it is flashable with Klipper. The hardware quality seems also really good, yet once again all closed-source and locked down… it's like buying an Apple. Happy it currently works for you, I'd never go that way though.^^
@Natanox where are you getting that I can flash Klipper?
it's honestly not half as locked down as you'd think it is and I really didn't wanna get something that takes significant setup as a first printer
@noiob I didn't mean you could do that specifically, but it's technically possible to flash the A1 Mini.
It might not be as locked down as an Apple, still the company is following the usual route of closed hardware, cloud nonsense and enshittification. Replacement parts are only (meant to be) available through them, and only as long as they like. Naah, just naah.
As I said, I'm glad to hear it works well for you. Still would never support that company. 😉
@noiob rippled for her pleasure.
@noiob How comes you chose a Bambu Lab?
