So can somebody explain secure-boot to me? I have to switch it off to get the #tuxedo control-center working.

Switching something with the word "Secure" in it off, feels strange ... otherwise I often read to switch it off or that secureboot is already unsecure....

So.... please enlighten me :)

@inlovewithpda basically it only allows properly signed bootloaders. You can add your own (if you switch from "User" mode to "Custom" mode), a bunch of Linuxes support that.
