I wish I could get into RSS, but I just haven't liked any of the readers that wasn't paid very much (at least on ios). And I just...didn't know of more RSS specific stuff that would be interesting to read.
I know having automatic polling for updates requires a server so they can't offer that in free things, but I don't really remember to read things if it's not prompted.
@misnina I mostly use rss to keep up with webcomics, I self-host freshrss now (syncing to reeder on ios, it's absolutely worth the money) but I used to use feedly after google reader shut down and only stopped because they made some questionable choices publicity-wise. https://www.theoldreader.com is another free cloud-based reader that syncs with a bunch of apps and has a pretty generous free option
