macrumors comments on EU DMA articles are hurting my brain but I can't look away, like surely these people aren't serious?

just ranting 

"they are only targeting American companies" yeah, the DMA is supposed to protect the EU single market

"the fines are to make money" the EU budget dwarfs even Apple's so I'm sure them fining companies a few million dollars makes a huge difference

"they want control" yeah that's how market regulations work

"they should just leave" and leave behind a super lucrative market

"how dare they force Apple to open up app stores etc" I still don't see how that's a bad thing for consumers

if I needed proof that using an iPhone too much could actually give people brain damage I would start here

also it makes sense but holy shit the EU budget is actually above a thousand billion euros, that is an incomprehensible amount of money

@noiob if they caught and sacrificed Elon Musk they could take a few months off.
