virtually any analog signal, most digital signals (I2C, SPI, GPIO, serial, parallel, USB 1.1): 50MHz 2ch oscilloscope for 70€
USB2+, Ethernet, HDMI, DP, PCIe, most other fancy stuffs: 1GHz 4ch oscilloscope for 7000€

(specifically, I’ve chosen the Zoyi ZT-703S and the Rigol MHO5104 as each baseline)
you can also do 2.4GHz/5GHz wireless and such with a better oscilloscope, but at that point you’re dealing with Tektronix and Keysight and everything gives you a “quote” button… which is there just to let you know you’ll never be able to afford it 
also worth mentioning: I don’t get why most people online seem to be obsessed with bench oscilloscopes and quickly dismiss the handheld and USB ones as useless, so many comments going “I don’t want to carry a laptop around”

@xerz I was thinking "would be nice to just use my ipad for that" and lo and behold there's an ipad oscilloscope but it's 400 dollars
@noiob the thing with DSOs for the iPad is that they’re the same as USB ones and they seem… unjustifiably expensive
