coffee

tbh I get that people treat pourover coffee as like a snobby thing you snob about but honestly I think that a pourover setup with a good filter is just overall better than drip coffee

not necessarily in taste, just, instead of having to deal with a machine that is tethered to an outlet, you can just boil water in a kettle and pour it directly into the pot, more or less

there are ways to minmax the taste but I don't really care that much

I also really like the tactile feel of grinding coffee with a hand grinder, and using whole beans is probably the biggest factor to taste anyway since there's less surface area to get stale

@clarfonthey if you like pourover for those reasons and only make single cups I highly recommend you look into the Aeropress, it's such a simple device but it's ridiculously low-fuss, super easy to clean and makes great coffee
