@adrianyyy I think it's pretty unwieldy and doesn't translate well but also open source projects should care less about branding because it doesn't matter as long as the project is cool
@adrianyyy @noiob i didnt mean the translation. postmarketos doesnt just want to offer a distro "after the official OS", but to improve the whole lifespan of supported devices. thats kinda not derivable from the name
@adrianyyy @fossdd Fedora, Ubuntu and Alpine are great examples for names that work just as a collection of syllables for most people in the world
ask anyone who doesn't speak English to pronounce Postmarket OS

@noiob @adrianyyy the problem is that if we want to go to the mainstream, the name is a important step to introduce new users to the project
