@noiob unfortunate, but somewhat expected ;; we are trying to improve it now, but rollout has been slow
@halcy I'm not expecting it to do magic tbh
@noiob incidentally: I notice you're on a mac from that screenshot. Were you using the laptop speakers or some sort of headphones / in ear monitors / other? and did you use any of the mac os built in "voice isolation" stuff?
@noiob (we have been getting *a lot* of complaints from mac users specifically, and I'm trying to get to the bottom of this, and while the plural of anecdote is not neccesarily data, any more anecdotal evidence helps narrow it down more)
@halcy headphones but the builtin macbook microphone (which records the whole room, I know). I turn off voice isolation.
@noiob alright yeah that's basically the ideal and expected setup (headphones do internal processing that can mess with our models, same goes for having MacOS mic processing on). Not much to do, then. I guess we probably need to do some local mac testing or find some internal users that can send me recordings
@halcy okay it didn't do anything with my coworker speaking pretty loudly right across from me but I also didn't expect it to work that well
