@cinnamon yeah! they got rid of that weird limitation where the USB-C port can't be used for video!

as for other things besides games and stuff, termux would probably play a pretty big role! i might even start actually using termux-x11 since it wouldn't be as annoying if i had the ability to dock my phone to essentially use it like a normal computer that i just happen to be able to put in my pocket and walk away with

also, this would just be a bonus lap if i had about 100GB to spare, but i get a surprising amount of use out of offline wikipedia~

though, the biggest thing having a lot of storage would mean, would be that i wouldn't have to pick and choose between things i keep regretting not having access to

@archenoth @cinnamon also Android is getting a desktop mode for external displays soon, you can turn it on today but it's fairly jank androidauthority.com/android-d

@noiob @cinnamon oh dang! if i can do this now, that's actually huge for me!

@noiob ah dang

so i *do* have that setting in my developer options, but it just appears to toggle desktop window management if you already happen to have a secondary display

but the ability to actually use an external display isn't part of the system itself, and didn't start being that until 3 generations after my pixel 5
