I think I'm going to need a new phone soon. Ugh. It's only been like 2-3 years
I got a used iPhone because it was recommended to me, they apparently get updates and support for way longer than Android devices, but it's physically breaking down now, the screen is having issues and the power button is starting to get stuck. And the propietary stuff is really annoying and expensive
And Android stuff has always been a crapshoot, it gets really really slow in only like 2 years no matter what I do
Does anyone have any recommendations for phones that are both durable and cheap. Like I don't need power, I just want a little pocket computer
@socks some Android manufacturers have really long support cycles now. I used my Pixel 4a 5G for a fairly long time and only recently upgraded to the 8a, I'd recommend any of the Pixels tbh if you want something with a decent camera or little fuss
@noiob Okay, that sounds useful, thank you! Although the camera is like the least important thing to me, I'd get a phone without a camera if I could
@socks then go for an a model, they have cheaper and less bulky cameras but the same chipset as the full-fat Pixel
