🦊we've been told that FFXIV:ARR has been compressed a lot with a lot of quests removed, and how it's a good thing because ARR is a slog (though we've been having fun with it) but the tradeoff is like, the main quest right now is "ok you will *only* do multiplayer duties. you WILL be social"
🦊multiplayer duties seem to consist of one guy aggroing every enemy in the game to one spot and us chasing after them using our one ranged move like "come back" LOL these are guys who just wanna get the duty done
@noiob 🦊 actually, NPC's in the duty are an option for us! but we'd rather play with real players if we're gonna do it
@roxy oh, my info was outdated then. It's still a good option if you wanna repeat it at your own pace tho
@roxy everything past ARR can be done with NPC teammates too but they didn't get to add the system to ARR yet, a lot of the behaviors are hardcoded to the dungeon to give the NPCs some personality and let them comment on stuff
