the charge cradle has USB, but I also remember there being a parallel cable...or was it serial

the other cable was serial, there's a leaflet for it in the box

or actually, it appears to be the box for the serial cable, the serial cable might be on the bottom

unfortunately it appears I did correctly remember there being gunk in the box. wonder what the heck that is

guess I'll just let it charge for a bit. maybe in the future I can try some stuff on it... there's 3 install CDs here

it looks like the stylus is missing, but I remember the one from the DS worked

the touch screen appears to not work?

it also died immediately after being removed from the cradle, indicating the battery may be fucked

possible that the touch screen also requires the battery to be working. or maybe not
