still no movement on a local LLM to screen advertisements out of otherwise-functional notifications. That’s literally the only thing I want to see from this field and honestly could probably be done with old school NLP
@deersyrup I mean that's kinda just what an email spam filter is, just less data. I think those are already neural networks
@noiob basically yeah. I’m shocked given the prevalence of other mobile notification management tools that it hasn’t been included as part of them (especially with the rise in spam notifications from various corpo services).
I wish I could just filter out anything including a ‘$’ or ‘%’ character lol

@noiob id be lying if i said I didn’t get value out of the services but it’s really annoying. Especially for services that don’t (or can’t realistically) have any sort of FOSS or non-advertising equivalent
