thinking about buying "a console" again – I guess if one has a sizable steam library already, the logical way would be to buy a steam deck?

since I know I'm more of a couch gamer anyway: anyone want to share their experience of a steam deck + dock vs. a "proper" console?

@jollysea if you're okay with running games at handheld specs / indie games that don't care much it's a very comfy experience, and on a decent home network you can also use Steam Link to stream games from your PC (with varying results, and you don't need a Deck for that)

I like that I can use my wireless keyboard with TrackPoint pointing device to use it pretty comfortably in desktop mode for the few cases where Android TV can't just play media or just to Do Computer Stuff on the couch
