Is there an easy way to set a custom favicon for a site that isn't mine? Wandering.shop and tabletop.social both show up as the mastodon icon in my pinned tabs.

Or can you customize the icons for pinned tabs in #firefox in any way?

@Canageek should be possible with a simple userscript but the image you're replacing it with needs to be on the same domain.

this one that uses my avatar for convenience is a two-liner, adapt for yourself and obvs set the @match to match the entire domain:

Do you have a recommended way to run user scripts? I'm SUPER out of date on that and it keeps changing. Last I heard people were using Grease Money or Tamper Monkey?

@Canageek I use Tampermonkey, no idea if that's the correct one but it works for me

@Canageek also for some reason Firefox's tracking protection seems to block it, so keep that in mind
