Apparently if my ThinkPad charging cable touches my phone display it works as capacitive touch ~

@noiob I wonder if it's my body conducting down the cord tho

@noiob I used a blanket to touch the screen with it and yeah it seems the cords plastic is enough to feed my body "energy" to the screen hehe

@konomikitten I would strongly suspect it's the metal, not the plastic

@noiob I unplugged the power pack entirely and it still works for my touch screen so I presume maybe the cord is similar material to those little cheap touch pens you can buy.

@konomikitten afaik that's rubber impregnated with carbon, which would be terrible insulation. But since the screen measures capacitance, not current, I don't think you actually need to touch the conductor

@noiob I tested my silicone USB cable nothing with it ~
