I've never actually been there, but I do have a Truck Simulator borne bone to pick with Europe, which is that putting traffic lights on the near side of the intersection instead of the far side is stupid.
It's one of like two things that I can think of that the US has over Europe as a whole. The other one is, of course, large beverage.
Uruguay has traffic lights on the far side of the intersection, but it does not really have large beverage the way the US does.
Ok, actually I have a second bone to pick specifically with how European roads work: when a line on the road separates you from oncoming traffic, it should be a different colour from the lines that separate lanes going in the same direction.
@BathysphereHat white and yellow are already taken, you're kinda running out of colors there when you want to accomodate colorblindness
@noiob What is yellow taken by? Also, why not use double white lines then?
@BathysphereHat in Germany, yellow is temporary lines for construction and the like

@noiob Hmm, yeah, I have noticed that the dashes are longer, it just seems kind of subtle. I suppose you get used to it though.
@BathysphereHat roads are generally roughly symmetrical, and multi-lane roads usually don't let you overtake so the center line is continuous anyways
