i was cleaning my apartment and slipped and hit my knee on a metal drawer handle. it crumbled immediately (lol, my knees are sturdy), but i got a small laceration. should i get a tetanus shot or something

@mynameistillian I mean you should get your shots but I doubt a small scrape on a drawer handle is anything to worry about

@mynameistillian clean it, let air at the wound and you're probably fine. If you're worried I suppose a booster can't hurt (much) but I doubt dry dust has much of anything in it

@mynameistillian (I'm basing this on information from the German Robert Koch Institute, they say that tetanus lives in soil and doesn't like air or sun. they do recommend a booster for minor wounds though)
