energy drink! on the work laptop
there were no immediate effects (screen stayed on etc) but i turned it off right away and it's stood up drying
going to get a slightly damp towel
i don't know what the life expectancy of a work laptop is. i'm sure they know that laptops break, they plan for that and they budget for that
if this laptop is toast (which i don't even think it is, but if it is) it's my first time killing a work laptop in the six years i've worked here. i don't know if that's a short or long time
even if it is a short time, i don't think it's so short that anyone's going to be seriously upset with me. i'm not getting the "it's dead already?" speech, it's been six years

@ashly don't know, at least six years because that's when i got it
@noiob @monorail I think we've heard the average is one or two years historically, but it's been going up between lack of technological progress and the bad economy.
