anyone here running current glitch-soc or Mastodon in allowlist mode and can answer some questions about it?
did I mention I hate reading ruby bc what the fuck does half of this mean

@Claire yeah but you used to be able to change the haml template or whatever and now I can't find where you change what's displayed on the page (and the blocks are an ajax fetch, but I'll get to that one)

@Claire ah dang, there's no api endpoint for domain_allows either, this is gonna be a lot more work than I anticipated
okay, I got unauthenticated api access back. lovely that allowlist mode comes with a bunch of settings that you can't turn off in the config, just to discourage you from using it. It also still shows blocks in the UI which does nothing
